BSA Troop 759 | Join Troop 759 in Columbus Ohio

Scouting is An Adventure and We Welcome Your Son To Grow With Us

Home Join Boy Scout Troop 759

Let me take the opportunity to invite you to Join Boy Scout Troop 759.  We are located in Columbus, Ohio and we are chartered at Blackburn Recreation and Family Center in the neighborhood of Olde Towne East.  Scouting is a global movement and our Troop is located in one of the more diverse neighborhoods in Columbus and we welcome all boys to Scouting.

Troop 759 is located in an incredible place in Columbus with an abundance of assets surrounding our post including:

  • Blackburn Recreation Center
  • The American Red Cross
  • Columbus Topiary Garden
  • Columbus Metropolitan Library Main Branch
  • Ward YMCA and Recreation Center
  • Franklin Park Conservatory
  • Columbus Police 11 & 12 Precinct
  • Columbus Department of Health
  • Columbus Museum of Art
  • City of Columbus Mayor’s Office
  • State of Ohio State House

We are also located close to Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Grant Hospital.  All of these assets are within 3 miles of our location.  What does all of that mean?  We are in the middle of “Merit Badge Nation” with access to resources that can help Scouts with over 100 Merit Badges all within walking distance of our post.

We would love to have your son join Troop 759.  Take a moment to fill out the form below and that will let us know your interest.  If you son is not currently a Scout, they will need to complete the BSA Youth Application and a few other forms.  We of course also welcome and encourage parents to participate in Scouting.  This is not a “drop off” unit and we expect parents to contribute time and materials to make this the best possible Scouting experience for everyone in the Troop.

Welcome to Troop 759.  You can contact the Scoutmaster at the phone number and emails list above.  Take the first step, fill out our form and we will get back to you within a few hours.

Yours in Scouting,

Christopher (Chris) Daly

Troop 759 Service Project | Restoring Overgrown Landscaping

July 11, 2020

Our neighbor had a substantial amount of overgrown vines, weeds and other items in her front and back yards.  The uneven ground and vines posed a danger for her walking around the property.  We volunteered to clear the area to make a safe for her to walk the grounds and to continue to use the property.
