Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Project Summary

BSA Troop 759 and Cub Scout Pack 759 are hosting a community Thanksgiving dinner for families and the elderly in our community who are food insecure or who want to fellowship and friendship around the holidays.  The Thanksgiving dinner is free of charge and open to any neighbors in the Olde Towne East neighborhood.

Join the Scouts in Olde Towne East and the Blackburn Recreation & Community Center and celebrate the bounty of our country and community with a meal of Thanksgiving.  Be sure to donate to Scouting for Food to support the community dinner and feel free to register to attend.  All are welcome.

    Our neighbor had a substantial amount of overgrown vines, weeds and other items in her front and back yards.  The uneven ground and vines posed a danger for her walking around the property.  We volunteered to clear the area to make a safe for her to walk the grounds and to continue to use the property.
